Bruce W. Weide leads the RESOLVE/Reusable Software Research Group (RSRG) at Ohio State. The long-term vision guiding this group's research is that of a future in which no production software is considered properly engineered unless it has been fully specified and automatically verified as satisfying these specifications. Weide earned a BSEE from the University of Toledo and a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, and has been on the faculty at Ohio State since 1978.
